Four performances filmed in Chile during January 2026, when summer in the southern hemisphere coincides with winter in the north.
From the Atacama Desert to the volcanic south of Pucón, the series moves through opposing territories: wind and water, mineral and liquid, expansion and resonance. Each chapter is a site-based sound action in which the landscape is not a backdrop, but an active presence.
Slow motion suspends time. Sound reshapes it.
Ascent and Descent in the desert.
The pulse of water in Tides and its final resonance in Echo.
Verano en Invierno / Summer in Winter does not document a place — it proposes inhabiting it through listening.
This playlist features the complete album, blending live studio sessions with experimental visuals.
Each track explores the intersection of traditional and electronic music: Afro-Cuban, African, and Latin percussion are reimagined through sampling and synthesis, alongside Takao’s Buchla Easel Command and effects. This results in a rhythmic yet exploratory journey where two musicians from different backgrounds discover a shared musical language.
일몰
Captured live on June 14, 2024, at Consultation Bak Art Residency in Seoul, this album marks my first recorded work in South Korea, a milestone shaped by a deeply intuitive collaboration with daegum artist Lee Ju Hang.
Sunset (일몰) is a fully improvised meeting between breath and electricity—between the centuries-old voice of the Korean daegum and a contemporary palette of experimental electronics. Together, we explore shifting textures, quiet tensions, and the subtle emotional landscapes that emerge only when two musicians meet with no script and complete openness.
